East Greenland glaciers and fjords
This pair of images from Flickr user jim self shows the mountains and fjords of East Greenland. The first image shows a small glacier on the southern shore of Stromo Island, just east of the Jacobsen Fjord. The lower sections of the glacier are around one kilometer across.
The next image, taken about 28 kilometers to the east, shows the sharp bend at the head of the Miki Fjord. The fjord is dotted with icebergs, the largest of which measure about 200 meters across.
