Glacial valley
Here's a dramatic, high-resolution shot of East Greenland from Flickr user golden haze. The image looks northwest at the head of a small glacial valley, just north of the Napasorsuaq Fjord. The bright, low-angle sunlight provides excellent illumination to reveal the subtle textures of the rocks and snow cover. See the high-resolution version for an even clearer view of the details.
