South Malé Atoll
Here's a series of images from Flickr user Dhonfuthu from the Indian Ocean island nation of The Maldives. The first image shows the islands along the southwestern edge of South Malé Atoll. Most of the visible islands in this photo are uninhabited reefs, but in the right-center is the island of Ran-naalhi, and just above it, the island of Fihaalhohi, home of the Fihalhoi Resort.
About eight km north, the next image looks across the many small atolls and submerged reefs of South Malé Atoll.
The final image is a close-up view of a small reef in the northern part of South Malé Atoll. This reef is about 300 meters across.
