Rimfaxe Glacier, East Greenland

Here's an image from Flickr user AsHlEy-AnNeTtE from Greenland's east coast, showing the enormous amount of ice that is discharged by Greenland's glaciers. The image shows the Rimfaxe Glacier pouring ice into the Sehested Fjord. The glacier enters the fjord near the center of the photo. Below this, the brighter white area consists of thousands of tons of icebergs and ice floes floating out toward the sea.

Here's another view of the same area, taken by Flickr user zsolt_b2006 in 2000. The Rimfaxe Glacier is in the upper left.
