Anoritûp Kangerdlua fjord
This image from Flickr user modquad provides a great view of the glaciers at the head of the Anoritûp Kangerdlua fjord in southeastern Greenland. The picture is sharp and clear, showing excellent detail in the surface texture of the glaciers. Note the dark lines in the glacier, which are medial moraines formed by the debris at the edges of two separate glaciers when they merge. Note also that this glacier has retreated about 400 meters from its position in the Google Earth image.
