Akia Peninsula, West Greenland
Here's a pair of images from Flickr user Marsell showing the coast of West Greenland. These images look south along the Akia Peninsula, a flat, low-lying area north of Greenland's capital, Nuuk. The first image shows the entire length of the peninsula, with the southern tip obscured by clouds near the top of the image. Nuuk lies at the edge of the cloud cover, beyond the large fjord at the left side of the image.
The next image shows the central portion of the Akia Peninsula. The landscape here is relatively flat, extensively scarred by glacial activity, and marked by many lakes (frozen white in this image).
