East Greenland nunaktaks
Here's a pair of images from Flickr user robtcobb from 2005, showing a field of nunataks poking through Greenland's ice sheet south of the Kangerdlugsuatsiak fjord in East Greenland. The first image shows a wide view of the nunatak field, with the low angle of the sun illuminating the texture of the surface of the ice sheet.
The next image shows a close-up, misty view of the nunataks that are in the lower-left corner of the image above.
