East Greenland fjords
This trio of images from Flickr user jason.sloan shows the glaciers and fjords of East Greenland. The first image shows the Kangerdlugsuak Fjord. The fjord opens to the sea at the upper left, with a layer of sea ice floating offshore in the far upper left.
Slightly further inland, the next image shows the Sigyn Glacier (the smooth, flat white surface in the foreground) flowing into the frozen Kangerdlikajik Fjord running across the right side of the image.
Another 25 kilometers inland, the final image shows the Thrym Glacier (lower right corner) flowing into Norrevig Bay. Across the bay in the upper right is the small Skjoldmoen Glacier.
