Vaadhoo Island, Kaafu Atoll, Maldives
This image from Flickr user nomadicDan shows Vaadhoo Island, part of Kaafu Atoll in the Maldives. This island, about 7 km southwest of the Maldives' capital, Malé, is home to the Vadoo Resort.
Being located between the capital and the many resorts to the south, Vaadhoo is a frequent photographic target for visitors heading out by plane to the southern resorts. The images below show two other views of this island.
