East Greenland mountains and glaciers
This pair of images from Flickr user matjkd shows the frozen landscape of East Greenland, south of the Kangerdlugssuaq fjord. The first image looks south across a large curving glacier in the foreground. The frozen waters of the Denmark Strait are visible in the upper left.
The next image, about 27 km northwest, provides a nice close-up view of a group of nunataks poking through the frozen ice sheet. Check the high-resolution version of this photo for excellent details in the mountains and the surface texture of the ice.
