Odin Land, East Greenland
This pair of images from Flickr user Ger Audrey provides a great view of the rugged coastline of East Greenland. The first image looks south across the ice-covered peninsula in the foreground called Odin Land. In the lower left corner is the Otte Krumpen Fjord. The larger fjord running across the center of the image is Kangerdlugsuak. Note the large quantities of floating ice. This photo was taken in the middle of the summer (July 2006). In the winter the seas around Greenland are generally frozen. In the summer the seas melt, except in the far north, but the thousands of glaciers produce an abundant supply of icebergs year-round.
Here's a closer look at the peninsula of Odin Land from the previous image, providing a view of a couple of the glaciers that are producing the icebergs dotting the water.
