Lake Mead
This image from Flickr user KTdesigner provides an overview of the central part of Lake Mead, in Arizona and Nevada. The photo looks east toward the center of the lake. The Hoover Dam would be in the lower right portion of the frame, but it is hidden behind the aircraft engine. The Nevada/Arizona border runs vertically through the foreground of the image and into the lake, and follows the branch of the lake leading toward the upper right. Nevada is on the left, and Arizona is on the right.
