Kangiata Nunâta Sermia glacier in West Greenland
This image from Flickr user lilber277 shows several of the large glaciers flowing from the inland icecap in the southern part of West Greenland. The large glacier flowing from the lower right is Kangiata Nunâta Sermia. It terminates just below center in the Kangersuneq fjord; the waters of the fjord are covered with gray clouds. In the lower left corner is the Kangaussarssup Sermia glacier. The inland icecap is visible in the upper right, with the Akugdlerssûp Sermia (right center) and Qamanârssûp Sermia (just above) glaciers extending down to the Kangersuneq fjord. In both of these glaciers, the cloud line also marks the terminus of the glacier.
