Sumbawa Island, Indonesia
This image from Flickr user raforrest shows the central portion of the Indonesian island of Sumbawa. Sumbawa is composed of larger sections in the east and west, connected by a narrow central isthmus. The narrowest portion of the isthmus, seen here at the upper left, is around eight miles wide.
