Caboolture River, Queensland, Australia
This series of shots by Flickr user koali shows the eastern portion of Queensland, Australia, taken on a flight from Bisbane to Gladstone. The first image shows the mouth of the Caboolture River, just west of the town of Beachmere.
This image is about five miles north of the previous image, showing agricultural land and a portion of the Beerburrum East State Forest.
This is the reservoir behind the Ewen Maddock Dam, located about three miles from Mooloolah, Queensland. The dam is the lighter-colored edge of the reservoir, visible at right.
Here we have forested land and agricultural fields, about halfway between Brisbane and Gladstone. The clearing through the forest is probably a powerline cut or a firebreak.
