Kangerdluluk Fjord, East Greenland
This pair of images by Flickr user foxypar4 shows the mountains and fjords of the southern part of East Greenland. In the first image, the glacier feeding the head of the Kangerdluluk fjord lies just beyond the mountains in the left foreground. The southern portion of the inland icecap lies to the right, partially obscured by clouds. A series of other fjords behind Kangerdluluk lead toward the sea, at left.
This close-up image shows several nunataks protruding through a small peninsular icecap north of the Anoritûp Kangerdlua fjord. The mouth of the fjord is visible at the top of the image. In the extreme upper left is the cape known as Avarqat.
