Australian outback near Alice Springs
This set of images from Flickr user e dog shows scenes from the Australian outback near Alice Springs. The first image shows a series of twisted rock formations about 43 kilometers southeast of Alice Springs.
The next image, taken about three kilometers west of the previous one, shows the valley lying on the north side of the formations from the first image.
The final image, from just west of the Alice Springs airport, shows a large dry riverbed in the top of the image, and a smaller dry riverbed running vertically through the center of the image. This smaller riverbed appears to have carved a notch in the line of hills running across the image.
