Søndre Sermilik Fjord, in South Greenland
This image by Flickr user Darren Olivier shows the mountains and fjords of the western section of the southern tip of Greenland. The large fjord running horizontally across the center is Søndre Sermilik, while in the background is Unartoq Fjord.
Compare the image above with the image below, taken about five years earlier, which shows the same fjord intersection with much less snow cover (the image below was taken in July, while the image above was taken in November).
