The Jattegletscher in northeast Greenland
This superb set of high-resolution images by Flickr user bitblue shows the glaciers and fjords of far northern East Greenland. The first image, shown at right, is an overview of the glacier called Jattegletscher, which flows into the northern reaches of the large Kong Oscar Fjord complex west of Traill Island. In the foreground is an area known as Frænkel Land, while in the center is Louise Boyd Land in center.
